The Institute of Technology & Management Learning and Development Centre’s (ITM - LDC) workshops are usually conducted within the Institute’s premises in Ugep and participants are guaranteed to enjoy modern facilities all through their continuous professional development experience with us. These include fully air conditioned delivery halls, 24 hours internet services, well equipped library and e-library, virtual learning environment (VLE) for students, a refectory which serves continental dishes, fully furnished accommodation (this is optional), our state of the art computer laboratories, tourism village, events centre and sports facilities.
Our team has extensive experience in delivering various programmes/workshops that will help transform individuals, teams, committees, communities, organisations and the society at large.
Our fees are also tailored around your needs and each participant gets a copy of all course materials both electronically and in hard copy too. All participant gets a Certificate of Attendance on completion of each workshop attended at the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM).
We offer relevant transportation assistance to participants who need to travel from Calabar, Ikom, Ogoja, Obudu etc to Ugep for our workshops. Our official vehicles can pick up and drop off participants at an affordable extra cost.

Mr Olumayowa Victor Ogunsola
Victor is an outstanding and inspirational teacher with huge passion for teaching, learning and educational management. Currently the Ag. Head of Department for Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Technology and Management, (ITM), he studied in the United Kingdom where he gained an Advanced Diploma in Business and Administrative Management with the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM), a BSc Honours in Management and Business Administration from the Manchester Metropolitan University and went on to train as a teacher/lecturer and gained his City & Guilds Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) and the City & Guilds Diploma to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS). He is also certified Project Manager. As a qualified teacher, Mr Victor taught various Management modules at Highly Trusted British Higher Institutions including Goldsmith International Business School, Nelson College London and Empire College London. He also became a consultant for Messerand Training London where he facilitated and delivered international workshops to government agencies, multi-nationals and international development organisations. He is a member of distinguished professional bodies like the Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom (CMI), Institute for Learning United Kingdom (IfL) and Institute of Administrative Management United Kingdom (IAM). He is also a certified APMG project manager. Due to his interest in international development and passion to see Africa develop, he founded Africa Must Develop (AMD) which is a PAN Africanism group that advocates for the development of Africa as a continent.
Dr. Bassey Benjamin Esu
Dr. Esu holds a Ph.D in Tourism Marketing, Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, all from University of Calabar. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, University of Calabar, Nigeria and Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, Cross River University of Technology and also with the Institute of Technology & Management, Ugep. He is a Fellow National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN), Fellow Chartered Institute of Administration (FCAI) and Member of Nigeria Academy of Management. He also holds a professional certification from the American Hotels & Lodging Educational Institute (CHT) as a Certified Hospitality Trainer. He is also the Managing Consultant, Divine Marketing Consult and the CEO of Sustainable Tourism Initiative (SUTI); a tourism based NGO with headquarters in Calabar, Nigeria (www.sutinigeria.org). He has published several articles in both local and international reputable Journals in tourism development and marketing. He has several years of Business and Research.
Mr Ikpe Okon Eyibio
Mr Ikpe is presently a lecturer at the Business Management and Entrepreneurship Department, Institute of Technology and Management. He holds a B.Sc and Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Lifelong Learning. He is a Sales Executive, an Audit Manager, and a trained teacher with over ten years of managerial and teaching experiences (combined). An effective communicator, he has a proven track record of combined sales/marketing knowledge, audit training, teaching knowledge in both business and financial management.
Mr Marcels Inechiama
Mr Marcels is currently an Accounting Lecturer at Institute Technology & Management (ITM) Ugep. He holds a B.Sc in Accounting and MBA. He is a Professional Manager and Accountant and a member of the following professional bodies: Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, Chartered Institute of Portfolio Management, Nigeria Institute of Management Chartered and Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria. He worked as the Operation Manager and Internal Auditor of Roadmap Projects Nig. Ltd. Internal Audit Officer of Cornels Nig. Ltd. He also worked as Area Accountant, Inventory Controller and Procurement officer of Air Liquide Nig. Plc and also as Work in Progress Officer at UAC Foods. He has several years of both professional and industrial experiences in Accounting, Auditing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Procurement Management. He taught briefly at Nigeria Institute of Management Chartered and Plateau State Polytechnic as lecturer in Accounting.
Mr Akintola has been professionally involve in academic for a few years. He attended the University of Lagos for his master’s programme in Sociology and also Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago- iwoye where he had his first degree in political science. A public analyst and commentator of repute, and member of National Association of Political Scientists (NAPS). He has to his credit two works on crime and development in Nigeria. His area of interest includes; crime, penology, development and research methodology. Currently working on a project to empower youths in Somolu constituency in conjunction with the office of the Vice President. Abayomi Akintola lives in Ugep, Cross River state, where he works with the Institute of Technology and Management as a lecturer in Citizenship Education.
Lewis currently works full-time as the Lecturer for IT Networks at the Institute of Technology & Management (ITM), Ugep. Prior to joining the ITM He worked as Technical Trainer/Network Engineer at the Indian Institute of Hardware Technology (IIHT), Port Harcourt, Rivers State and other IT training/consulting firms. He has over 5 years of expertise in IT Network (Design, Development & Management), IT Security (Network, Data & End-user Security), Computer Forensics, System & Server administration Virtualisation, IT Project Management, IT Technical and End-user training. He holds a number of IT Certifications including: Certified Ethical Hacker v7.1, Cyberoam Certified Trainer (CCT - CCNSP), Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI), Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) for IT Essentials, CCNA (Routing & Switching and Security) and NDG Linux. He is a member of various International professional bodies. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Information & Computer Systems) from Benson Idahosa University and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Criminology & Security Studies.
Mr. Chukwudi Njoku
Mr. Chukwudi Njoku is an expert in International Tourism and Hospitality Management with about 10 years practical experience in both the private and public sectors in Nigeria and UK. He has made contributions to the development of Home-stay Tourism in Nepal and also been involved in consultancy in Nigeria so as to boost domestic tourism. His Tourism Management journey began when he joined the Ministry of Culture & Tourism Katsina in 2006 and since then his experiences in various roles have shaped him into a seasoned expert, trainer and consultant. The key focus of Chukwudi is delivering effective and efficient Tourism and Hospitality Management in the Sub Saharan/ global tourism key markets. Chukwudi holds a Masters degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management from the Robert Gordon University UK.
Franca Akpeme is currently a Learning Skills Development (LSD) Lecturer at Institute of Technology & Management Ugep. She has worked as an English and communication Lecturer briefly at Sir Kashim College of Education Maiduguri, Borno State. She was also an English Language and English Literature Teacher at various schools in Kano State. She has several years of teaching and Customer service experience. She is currently working on her Masters in MEd. Educational Administration and Planning. She has B.Ed Language Arts (English Language) and N.C.E in English/Social Studies at Federal College of Education Kano and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria respectively.
Mr Ayotunde Lasode
Ayotunde is a dedicated, hardworking, sincere, and ambitious person focused on developing his career in the education sector and research in particular. He is a graduate of University of Ilorin-Nigeria holding an MSc in Mathematics having previously achieved a BSc (Edu.) in Mathematics & Statistics. He has an ongoing PhD in Mathematics. He has been teaching, tutoring, and mentoring people since 2001. Ayotunde has supervised about 6 graduate projects, trained/taught research methodology as a course and participated in decision making.
Julius Abu is an experienced IT professional, education manager and research analyst with experience from different TVET and entrepreneurial environments. He has an extensive knowledge of student-centered teaching and facilitation as well as curriculum development in TVET environments. He has proven leadership skills and he is a culturally sensitive, skilled communicator who is able to build and facilitate trustworthy relationships with individuals as well as organisations. As an experienced teacher, Julius is an advocate of differentiated learning in a student-centered TVET environment and is equally a strong advocate of safeguarding in an academic environment. He is a certified CISCO ITE instructor and an Oracle Certified database expert who has experience in software and application development on various platforms.
Julius has worked with a number of national and international organisations including the British Council (as an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exams administrator), Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Forestry research Institute of Nigeria (as a software and programme analyst), Federal College of Forestry, Jos (as a computer science lecturer and later as the Head of department, Computer Science) as well as Institute of technology and management, Ugep.
At present, he is the IT software lecturer at the Institute of Technology and Management, Ugep, Cross River State, where he teaches on a range of courses relating to software, database and web development as well as provide tutoring/ mentorship for students and some other teaching staff when the need arises.
A diligent and conscientious individual with a “can do” spirit. A team player with multiple skills, attributes and mindset to sail uncharted waters with focus on set goals. Vested with the privilege of active participation in the running of a Government owned entrepreneurial Polytechnic Institute administered with United Kingdom’s approach: The Institute of Technology & Management (ITM). Mr Oshin spent over twenty-eight (28) years in examination administration and other management roles in West African Examination Council (WAEC). He brings quality education management to the board of the ITM. Anthony is currently the Registrar and Secretary to Council of the Institute of Technology and Management. He has a B.Sc and M.Ed from the University of Benin and is currently working on his Ph.D in Lead City University. He is also a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA) and other professional bodies. Anthony Oshin has several academic publications to his credit.
Lucky N. Ugboko
Lucky is the Director, Finance and Corporate Services of the Institute of Technology and Management, Ugep. Prior to joining the ITM, he worked with Patrick Uzoka & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as a Senior Consultant and with oil marketing giants, Conoil Plc, where he rose to the management position of Assistant Finance Controller. He also worked with Intercontinental Bank and United Bank for Africa Plc.
Mr.Ugboko is a life coach and widely travelled. He is passionate about Leadership and Sustainable Development in Africa. He is a renowned conference speaker and resource personality for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM)
Lucky has a B.A (Hons) from the University of Sunderland, UK. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and also a Fellow of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) International, UK (FLEAD) as well as an Associate Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM).
