Our vision is targeted towards:
- Having an independent, self-certificating, tertiary institution;
- Setting new, high, standards;
- Inspiring the local TVET Eco-system to raise its standards to those of ITM;
- Inspiring other regions to follow the ITM path.
The principle behind the ITM project is tailored towards being a self sustaining Institute such that proprietorship funding will over time not be needed, rather, it would be expected to generate revenue as an enterprise to the state.
The Institute will provide students a unique opportunity to be taught in a learning environment with state of the art facilities that replicate International best practices in the educational industry. ITM will over time offer full time Certificate, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma courses to International Standards, but in the interim, with the National Diploma programmes.
For effective operations of the Institute, there is need for its activities to go through minimum standardised guide curricula for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), of the National Board for Technical Education as a principal organ of Federal Ministry of Education specifically created to handle all aspects of Technical and Vocational Education falling outside University Education in Nigeria.
Programs currently available in the Institute are:
